My, what a difference a few months can make. All of the free time in the world that I was enjoying to write and be creative were stifled once again by the pursuit of academia. Higher education is an addiction, it's a drug to me. One of my professors relayed to me recently that she began teaching more or less when she ran out of degrees to obtain. I am concerned I may do the same thing some day, but my ambitions go a bit beyond there. Though that's not to say that teaching at a university wouldn't be heaven. There are just much larger fish for me to fry in the grand scheme of life. Nonetheless, I'm in school again, so updates are more sparse (no surprise there).
I have taken on the joyful task of being a DJ for the school's radio station, WVUM 90.5 fm. This move has prompted a new section on this page for you to check out in the menu on the right side, appropriately titled Radio. Also, the playlist in the Listening Room will now directly reflect the music I play on my radio show. However, instead of being the actual songs I play, it's a list of alternative songs by several of the same artists. If you want to recreate my actual playlists, you'll have to do the work yourself using the lists I post from the radio station. These playlists are also available on the station's website, but you'll have to do a bit of digging to find them there. Check the Radio section for information on my next upcoming show.
